We want a society in which blind and partially sighted people enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else
Company description Visual impairment is a fact of life for thousands of people, and with an ageing population many more will be affected by sight loss in the future. We campaign alongside visually-impaired people for rights that most sighted people take for granted. These include access to services and transport, freedom of mobility, and provision of better rehabilitation services. Working closely with guide dog owners, service providers, other voluntary organisation and MPs, we've won major victories and have successfully lobbied to influence policies and legislation. Guide Dogs carries out research that provides sound scientific evidence on which to base our services, campaigns, policies and operational procedures (the way we do things).
